HubSpot Sales Workspace: everything you need to know
What is the HubSpot Sales Workspace?
The Prospecting Workspace is now the Sales Workspace! This new version is built to help sales professionals manage their entire process—from building pipelines to closing deals—all in one place. BDRs, Account Executives, and full-cycle reps can now seamlessly handle their sales funnel in a centralized workspace.
Why the Sales Workspace?
In today's sales environment, salespeople are responsible for more than just closing deals. Generating a strong pipeline is essential to success, whether you're a BDR focused entirely on lead generation or an AE seeking a balance between deal closing and pipeline generation. The Sales Workspace unites these two core activities in one platform, allowing reps to work more efficiently and purposefully.
With the Sales Workspace, sales reps can:
- Prioritize by having a clear overview of their most important actions.
- Save time by not constantly switching between different tools.
- Maintain focus on what really makes an impact on their sales goals.
What are the new features in the Sales Workspace?
The updated Sales Workspace introduces powerful new functionality to help reps work more effectively:
-
Guided Actions
Track buyer engagement and monitor lead and deal data within HubSpot. Guided Actions provide a prioritized list of tasks to help reps take the right actions, such as following up on emails or scheduling follow-up appointments. -
Easily manage leads and deals.
Manage your active opportunities in an organized environment. Prepare meetings, perform follow-ups, and keep focus on important deals without distractions. Plus, settings let you control which users have access to leads and/or deals in the workspace, so it's tailored to your team's needs. -
Queues.
New queues allow reps to understand context, take actions and build relationships faster. This streamlines the process from prospecting to closing. -
AI Meeting Assistant
AI support, powered by Breeze Copilot, helps reps prepare meetings with insights about contacts and companies. After the meeting, the assistant generates summaries and suggests personalized follow-up emails so reps can always respond professionally and quickly.
What does this mean for you?
With the transition to the new Sales Workspace, the outdated Prospecting Workspace has been completely replaced. This change was rolled out in phases to minimize workflow disruptions. As of today, all users of Sales Hub Professional and Enterprise have access to this new and improved experience.
For portals using the old seating model, users with sales access can only view their own leads in the workspace. However, with a sales seat, you have the option to grant access to all leads.
For portals using the new seating model, only users with a sales seat can work in the workspace, and they are initially limited to viewing their own leads. However, through permissions, you can grant them access to all leads, depending on the needs of your team.
What's next?
HubSpot continues to develop new features for the Sales Workspace. In the coming months, you can expect even more tools and capabilities to help you work more efficiently and achieve better results.
